Megan MacNeill

Megan MacNeill began her career at Haywood Securities Inc. in 2003, working in the investment banking division prior to becoming a Special Situations Analyst. Her coverage space includes energy infrastructure companies and other special situations opportunities. As an Analyst at Haywood, Ms. MacNeill is responsible for introducing the yield asset class to Haywood’s coverage universe, initially through the annual Yield Report, commenced December 2011, further expanding in April 2013 through the weekly 2%-10% yield summary. Her experience as a Banker included numerous equity and debt financings for high-growth private and public companies in technology, biotechnology and the alternative energy sectors. This includes Pristine Power Inc., which built cogeneration and gas power projects for a value in excess of $700 million prior to being acquired, and Wolf Medical Systems Corp., a medical software company acquired by Telus in 2012. Ms. MacNeill also cofounded Swift Power Inc., an independent power company which was later acquired by a multibillion dollar energy infrastructure company following successful receipt of a long-term electricity purchase agreement by BC Hydro. Ms. MacNeill graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Medical Science degree (Hons).
