Matthew Hoffman

MATTHEW HOFFMAN is Principal of Wireless Communications and has covered
the wireless equipment/mobile Internet space for SoundView Technology
Group since 1999. Prior to joining SoundView, Mr. Hoffman led Gartner
Dataquest’s Americas mobile infrastructure/handset research as the
group’s Senior Analyst and Manager. Before joining Dataquest, he spent
three plus years at Ericsson, first leading the company’s global efforts
in collecting market intelligence and product research for TDMA, CDMA,
GSM1900 and satellite phones, and then as Marketing Manager for
Ericsson’s Wireless Internet group. He holds an MA from Miami University
in Oxford, Ohio.
