Martin Friedman

Martin Friedman is CEO, Portfolio Manager and Founder of Washington, D.C.-based FJ Capital Management, an investment firm focused on community and regional banks and thrifts using a fundamental research approach. Mr. Friedman has analyzed and invested in banks for 20-plus years, previously as a Bank Analyst and Director of research at global investment bank Friedman, Billings, Ramsey. Mr. Friedman currently serves on the board of Access National Bank (ANCX), an $800 million community bank headquartered in Reston, Va.
