Mark W. Johnson

MARK W. JOHNSON joined USAA Investment Management Company as a
Securities Analyst. Currently, he is Portfolio Manager of the USAA
Precious Metals and Minerals Fund and the gold sector of the USAA
Cornerstone Fund. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Johnson was a Vice
President of the Old Kent Bank & Trust Company. He was promoted to
Executive Director in 1991 and to Assistant Vice President in 1995. Mr.
Johnson has 29 years of investment experience. He earned Bachelor’s and
Master’s degrees from the University of Michigan. Mr. Johnson is a
member of the San Antonio Financial Analysts Society and the Association
for Investment Management & Research.
