Mark Roberson

Mark Roberson is the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of PokerTek, Inc. PokerTek develops and manufactures electronic gaming equipment and related software for use in the casino/gaming industry. Its products are used in over 12 countries and cruise ships worldwide. Over the past two years, Mr. Roberson led a turnaround at PokerTek, resulting in increased market penetration, product line expansion and significantly improved financial results. During 2010 the company achieved its first quarterly EBITDA profit and positive operating cash flow, while also investing in new products and markets. That same year, Mr. Roberson was named “CFO of the Year” for a small public company by the Charlotte Business Journal. He is a CPA with over 20 years of experience in operations and finance, including leadership roles with several large public and private companies. Mr. Roberson received his MBA from Wake Forest University, a B.S. in economics from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. in accounting from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
