Mark J. Cunneen

MARK J. CUNNEEN is a Managing Director of J. & W. Seligman & Co.
Incorporated. As Head of the Global Small Company team, Mr. Cunneen
supervises a team of investment professionals who together manage
Seligman Frontier Fund, Seligman Smaller Companies Fund, and more than
$2 billion in institutional assets. Additionally, the Team manages
Seligman Horizon Global Smaller Companies Fund, a Luxembourg-based fund
available exclusively to non-US investors. Mr. Cunneen has 14 years of
investment experience. Prior to joining Seligman in March 2000, he had
been Senior Vice President ‘ Head of Small Cap Group at Alliance Capital
Management since January 1999. Prior to then, he was with Chancellor
Capital Management and its successor firms as Managing Director and Head
of the Small Cap Group from 1997 to 1999 and as a Portfolio Manager in
the Small Cap Group from 1992 to 1997. (Chancellor Capital Management
was acquired by LGT Asset Management in October 1996, which was acquired
by Invesco in May 1998.) In 1992, Mr. Cunneen founded DC Capital Inc.,
an investment firm dedicated to the active management of US equity
portfolios for pension funds. Mr. Cunneen graduated from the University
of Notre Dame College of Business with a BA in Business Administration
and received an MBA in Investment Management from the University of
Pennsylvania.
