Mark F. O'Connell

MARK F. O’CONNELL has served as President of MatrixOne, Inc. since
September 1996, and as Chief Executive Officer and Director since July
1997. From March 1995 to September 1996, Mr. O’Connell was Vice
President of Marketing. Prior to joining MatrixOne, Mr. O’Connell held a
number of management positions in finance and marketing at Digital
Equipment Corporation, a supplier of networked computer systems,
software and services. These positions included Director of Software
Product Marketing from January 1994 to March 1995, Director of Corporate
Product Marketing Communications from February 1993 to January 1994,
Director of Workstations and Server Marketing from May 1991 to February
1993, and Group Manager of Marketing and Sales Programs for the UNIX
software and systems business from January 1990 to May 1991.
