Liz Ann Sonders

LIZ ANN SONDERS is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Avatar
Associates in New York, a firm specializing Tactical Asset Allocation.
She has been with the firm for 12 years and co-chairs the Stock
Selection Committee and is a member of the Bond Selection Committee. For
the former, she covers the energy, transportation, auto and
retail/apparel industries. She is a frequent speaker at money management
seminars and has given numerous interviews with The Wall Street
Transcript, Bloomberg News and CBS’s on-line ‘Market Watch.’ She is a
panelist on Wall Street Week With Louis Rukeyser, and regularly appears
on CNBC, CNNfn, and Bloomberg TV. She received her B.A. in Economics and
political science from the University of Delaware in 1986 and her M.B.A.
in Finance from Fordham University in 1990. Her interests include golf,
skiing, biking, rollerblading and tennis.
