Lisa O'Dell Rapuano

LISA O’DELL RAPUANO is Director of Research for Legg Mason Funds
Management, Inc. She manages the Special Investment Trust Mutual Fund
and co-manages Legg Mason Mid-Cap separately managed accounts with Kyle
Prechtl Legg. Ms. Rapuano co-managed the Special Investment Trust with
Bill Miller for two years prior to her January 2001 appointment as sole
manager. Ms. Rapuano joined the firm as a Research Analyst in 1994 and
was named Assistant Portfolio Manager for the Special Investment Trust
in 1997. Prior to joining Legg Mason, she was an Analyst with Franklin
Street Partners in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and was associated with
Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York. She serves on the Board of
Directors of the Baltimore Security Analysts Society. Ms. Rapuano
earned a BA in American Studies from Yale University and received the
CFA designation in 1995.
