Layle K. Smith was appointed President, Chief Executive Officer and Director for Noranda Aluminum in 2008. He has over 27 years of diverse leadership experience, including various management assignments with The Dow Chemical Company and positions as COO of Resolution Performance Products, and CEO of Covalence Specialty Materials. He holds a B.A. in chemistry and an MBA from Harvard University.
