LATTIMORE M. MICHAEL is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Back Yard Burgers, Inc. He founded, co-owned and operated Back Yard
Burgers in March 1987 in Cleveland, Mississippi. Additionally, he owned
and operated Michael’s Enterprises, Inc., until 1993, and then devoted
fulltime to Back Yard Burgers, Inc. Back Yard Burgers’ headquarters was
moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1990. The company was taken public in
1993 and is currently listed on the NASDAQ Small Cap Market under the
symbol ‘BYBI.’ Back Yard Burgers currently owns and operates 41
restaurants and franchises 78 Back Yard Burgers.
