LARRY L. ENTERLINE is Chief Executive Officer of Venturi Partners. A
rich diversity of talent, insight, energy and compassion chronicle the
life and career of Larry L. Enterline to date. A native of Rochester,
Pennsylvania, he graduated cum laude from Case Western University in
1974 and received his MBA from Cleveland State University in 1988. His
collegiate honors include the renowned Blue Key for engineering
excellence and induction into Eta Kappa Nu. His professional career
started in 1974 with Reliance Electric Company, where his tenure
included posts in design, engineering and project management. In 1982,
Mr. Enterline joined Bailey Control Company as Marketing Manager for
Energy Management. During the next seven years he grew in company
significance in a variety of management roles, culminating in the slot
of Vice President of Marketing. In 1989 he joined Scientific-Atlanta
Inc. where the next 18 years paved the way for the role he enjoys today
at Venturi Partners. After joining Scientific-Atlanta as a Vice
President of Marketing and Sales, in two years’ time he was appointed
President of its Spectral Dynamics Business Division. Other top posts at
Scientific-Atlanta included President, US Sales and Marketing of the
Broadband Communications Group, as well as President of both the
International Division and Worldwide Sales Division. In 1997 he was
named Corporate Senior Vice President for Worldwide Sales and Service.
His intriguing mix of engineering expertise and marketing savvy proved
solid ground for his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Personnel
Group of America Inc. offices in key market areas, Mr. Enterline is
setting the pace for the future of staff augmentation and information
technology services with his innovative approach of creating new
technologies to better serve customers, employment candidates and the
Venturi enterprise-wide team alike. Under his tutelage, Venturi Partners
introduced ToneBurst, a proprietary, patented voice analysis technology
that allows a customer to screen a candidate’s ‘selling voice’ before he
or she is hired for a telephone-based position. Likewise, Web-deployed
StyleMatcher identifies workplace preferences shared by Venturi
customers and their potential employees, to help determine which
candidates are best-suited to a company’s culture ‘ before they’re
hired. Beyond the corporate environment, Mr. Enterline serves as
Director of his own charitable entity, The Enterline Foundation, and
enjoys in his leisure time sailing, playing basketball and motorcycling.
Sharing the benefit of his vast experience, he also serves as a Board
member for Adline Network LLC, Globaltek Telecom Inc. and Westco LLC. In
addition to being published in various technical journals, his
professional affiliations include Cable Television Administration and
Marketing Society, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
Inc. and the American Staffing Association.
