Larry K. Powers

LARRY K. POWERS is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of
The Genlyte Group Inc., and President and Chief Executive Officer of
Genlyte Thomas Group LLC. He has been involved in the
electrical/lighting industry since 1971. Mr. Powers is a member of the
Genlyte Board of Directors. Mr. Powers was President, US Operations;
Executive Vice President, Genlyte; President, HID/Outdoor Division of
Genlyte; President, Craflite/Wide-Lite Divisions of Genlyte and
President, Craflite/Hadco. He has a BS degree from Brigham Young
University and attended the Penn State Executive Management Training
Program, the Center for Creative Leadership, the Center for Creative
Leadership-LPC program, Leadership at the Peak and the AMA Management
Course for Presidents.
