Kyle Prechtl Legg

KYLE PRECHTL LEGG is President, Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio
Manager of Legg Mason Capital Management, Inc. She joined Legg Mason in
1991 and currently co-manages Value Equity and Legg Mason Mid-Cap
separate accounts. She established Legg Mason Capital Management’s Small
Cap Management separate account product in 1992. In January 2002, Ms.
Legg transitioned that product into Legg Mason Mid-Cap to include small-
to mid-capitalization stocks. In 1996 she established the separate
account product Value Equity. Prior to joining Legg Mason, she spent 10
years as an Equities Securities Analyst with Alex. Brown & Sons, where
she held the title of Principal. Ms. Legg has served on the Dean’s
Advisory Board for the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She
received a Mathematics degree from Goucher College and also has a law
degree and an MBA. She received her CFA designation in 1983.
