Kurt Hallead

Kurt Hallead joined RBC Capital Markets in January 2002 to run
the oil service research effort. Prior to RBC, Mr. Hallead
achieved number 2 status in the annual Greenwich Associates Poll
and was ranked number 13 in the annual Institutional Investor
poll while at Merrill Lynch. His dossier also includes stints as
analyst/portfolio manager at two prominent energy hedge funds.
Mr. Hallead brings a seasoned blend of investment and brokerage
industry experience as well as a balanced view of the macro,
micro and geo-political business factors that drive the energy
business and, in turn, the oil service industry. He holds a BA
in Finance from Michigan State University.
