Mariana Kou

Mariana Kou, CFA, is a Senior Investment Analyst covering consumer and education at CLSA Limited. She was ranked as number-one stock picker in HK/China for retailing and number-six stock picker in Asia by Thomson Reuters StarMine for 2015. She has worked on the IPOs of Prada, China’s largest auction house Poly Culture, and China’s largest international school operator China Maple Leaf. Ms. Kou holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and is a graduate of Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship certificate program. She also graduated from the University of Notre Dame with magna cum laude and Raymond P. Kent Award. She is a CFA charterholder and a member of global business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma and economics honor society Omicron Delta Epsilon. Ms. Kou has extensive experience with international media and press from her stock coverage and work on CLSA Feng Shui Index. She also recently spoke at Columbia Business School’s China Business Conference. She is passionate about social initiatives and active in community work. She is a staff sponsor for Helping Hand, which operates elderly homes in HK/China, and also previously held project leadership roles at New York Cares, which focuses on the underprivileged in New York City.
