Kirk W. Walters

KIRK W. WALTERS is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
for Chittenden Corporation and Chittenden Bank. Mr. Walters joined
Chittenden in 1996 after serving as Chairman of the Board, President and
Chief Executive Officer of Northeast Federal Corp. and Northeast Savings
Bank. Prior to Northeast Federal, Mr. Walters was Senior Vice President
and Controller of CalFed Inc. and California Federal Bank. Before
joining CalFed he worked in the corporate finance group at Atlantic
Richfield Corp (ARCO). Mr. Walters received a BS in Accounting from the
University of Southern California in 1978 and was employed with Coopers
& Lybrand as an Audit Supervisor after graduation.
