KEVIN MIXER is responsible for managing AMR Research’s analysis of the
automotive and heavy truck industries, while also advising clients on
applying technology for competitive advantage in production operations.
Mr. Mixer analyzes the impact information technology strategies have on
production operations, and supports the analysis of the automotive
industry for supplier management, customer management and technology
selection. He has over 15 years of experience in information technology
strategy and program management with technical innovation in
manufacturing companies. He joined AMR Research from Syncata, where he
was the Director of Automotive Industries. In this role, Mr. Mixer
developed rapid lean manufacturing principles to improve operating
margins by reducing premium freight, inventory carry costs, and machine
down time using process improvements and technology enablers. He also
served as the program manager for integration efforts into SAP BW for
environmental reporting requirements. Prior to his work with Syncata,
Mr. Mixer was the Managing Director of the Great Lakes Region for C-
Bridge Internet Solutions. In this position, he provided market
awareness of the firm’s solution offerings for supply chain and
collaboration initiatives including involvement in industry shaping
initiatives like Covisint and the Automotive Network eXchange (ANX). He
was also the Director of KPMG’s Automotive Practice, and a Project
Manager for Ford Motor Company, where he drove global automotive re-
engineering efforts for indirect materials procurement processes. Mr.
Mixer received an MBA degree in International Business from Wayne State
University and a BSBA in Computer Science and Finance from Lawrence
Technological University.
