Patricia L. Kampling

Patricia L. Kampling is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliant Energy Corporation. Mrs. Kampling joined Alliant Energy in 2005, serving originally as Alliant’s Vice President of Finance. She then transitioned into Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer; and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In 2011, Mrs. Kampling became President and Chief Operating Officer. She was also named Chairman and President in 2012. Before joining Alliant Energy, Mrs. Kampling served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Exelon Enterprises. She holds bachelor’s degrees in engineering and economics from Swarthmore College, an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School and is a registered professional engineer. She serves on the boards of directors of American Transmission Company and Briggs & Stratton Corporation.
