Joseph V. Green

JOSEPH V. GREEN was appointed President of Winston Hotels, Inc., in
November 2003. Prior to his appointment he held the title of Chief
Financial Officer, which he continues to hold, effective May 1999. He
was Executive Vice President of the company effective January 1998,
after having advised Winston Hospitality, Inc., the company’s former
lessee, on matters regarding hotel acquisitions and finance since 1993,
including the initial public offering of Winston Hotels, Inc. Mr. Green
is a graduate of East Carolina University, was awarded his JD degree
from Wake Forest University School of Law and received a Master of Laws
in Taxation from Georgetown University.
