Jonathan Edelson

JONATHAN EDELSON, M.D. is Chairman, CEO and President of AHT
Corporation. Dr. Edelson is a board-certified internist and leading
national expert on healthcare management and information technology. Dr.
Edelson is a co-founder of AHT Corporation, a provider of Internet-based
clinical e-commerce among physicians and healthcare organizations across
the nation. Prior to AHT Corporation, Dr. Edelson was a co-founder and
CEO of Physicians’ Online, Inc., an independent company which is a
national provider of on-line information services to physicians. Prior
to Physicians’ Online, Dr. Edelson was a senior executive at Value
Health, Inc. As a practicing physician prior to joining Value Health, he
founded and managed Medical Decision Resources, which developed software
to profile the appropriateness of physicians’ clinical activities. Dr.
Edelson attended Yale University, the University of Chicago School of
Medicine, and the Harvard School of Public Health. He did his clinical
training in internal medicine at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in
Boston. He has spoken at numerous national conferences and is widely
published in the areas of medical informatics, managed care,
prescription drug benefit management, and clinical technology
assessment.
