JOHN PANDTLE is a Senior Vice President with Raymond James & Associates,
where he provides research coverage on banks and thrifts located in the
Southeast and Southwest. Raymond James’ regional approach to the banking
industry includes coverage of large, mid-, and small cap banks and
thrifts. Mr. Pandtle joined Raymond James equity capital markets in
April 2002. He began his Raymond James career in 1999 as a senior
financial services analyst covering the bank, thrift, consumer finance,
and asset management sectors at Eagle Asset Management. Before joining
Eagle, Mr. Pandtle was a sellside banking analyst with The Robinson
Humphrey Company for six years. During his tenure, Robinson Humphrey’s
bank group was recognized for its stock picking skills by the Wall
Street Journal in its 1997 All-Star Analyst Survey. Mr. Pandtle has
spent his entire career focusing on Southeast and Texas banks as both an
analyst and an institutional investor and has extensive experience
covering super-regional, regional, and community banks. Mr. Pandtle
graduated from the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of
Business Administration degree in Finance. He also holds the Chartered
Financial Analyst designation.
