John Little

JOHN LITTLE is the founder and CEO of Portal Software, Inc. Mr. Little founded the company in 1985 based on his vision of an integrated business infrastructure for the emerging global networks. His company would build an open software platform specifically designed for next generation communications services and not only facilitate these new network applications but actually drive the evolution of new markets. True to his vision, Portal Software was first to market with real-time customer management and billing software for Internet services in 1986. Since then, the company has emerged as the industry leader across broadband, wireless, voice, and next generation communications markets with a proven, flexible software platform that supports 10 languages, 53 services, and more than 400 customers worldwide, including 80% of the worlds largest communications companies. Previously, Mr. Little provided strategic technology and marketing services to online services and network technology companies in Asia and North America. He began his career at AT&T Bell Labs working on advanced communications systems. Mr. Little has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University.
