John Kartsonas

JOHN KARTSONAS joined Smith Barney in May 2004 as an analyst covering
the tanker shipping industry. Prior to joining Smith Barney, Mr.
Kartsonas was an industry analyst at Standard & Poor’s Equity Research
covering the oilfield services and shipping industries. In 2003, he
ranked among the Wall Street Journal’s ‘Best on the Street’ analyst
survey for his coverage of the oil sector. In the past, he served two
years in the Operations and Training department of the Greek Navy. Mr.
Kartsonas holds an undergraduate degree in physics and an MBA degree in
finance from the University of Rochester.
