John F. Powers

JOHN F. POWERS is a Managing Director at Robertson Stephens. He joined
the firm in 1992, following a decade of experience in the communications
industry, including a variety of marketing, management and planning
roles at ROLM Corporation and Octel Communications. Mr. Powers focuses
on the software infrastructure needs of today’s rapidly evolving
corporate and service provider networks, with emphasis on security,
network management, and information delivery technologies. He is a
frequent keynote speaker at industry events, including RSA Data
Security’s conference. Mr. Powers holds a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell
University and an MBA from Stanford University.
