John E. Labbett

JOHN E. LABBETT is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
ONSALE, Inc., a leading Internet real-time retailer. Mr. Labbett has
worked in finance for more than 25 years and brings extensive experience
from the retailing industry. He joins ONSALE from House of Fabrics,
Inc., where he had served as executive vice president and CFO since
1995. Mr. Labbett managed all financial and related areas of the
company, which was publicly traded and had revenues of approximately
$250 million with 260 stores nationwide. Prior to House of Fabrics, Mr.
Labbett worked as Vice President and CFO for a start-up specialty
retailer, The Pet Food Giant Inc., and served as executive Vice
President and CFO for Herman’s Sporting Goods, based in New Jersey. Mr.
Labbett holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a member of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England.
