John Bateson

JOHN BATESON is Chief Executive Officer pf SHL Group. He has overall
responsibility for company profits, share price and strategic direction,
as well as the growth and development of the group in 30 countries
worldwide. Mr. Bateson was appointed to the Board at SHL in 2000. Prior
to SHL, he was with the CAP Gemini Group, most recently as a senior vice
president and practice leader in Gemini Consulting. Before this, he was
senior vice president for the Mac Group. Mr. Bateson began his career in
marketing, and held the post of Marketing Department Chairman at London
Business School. Mr. Bateson holds a First degree from Imperial College
and an MBA from the London Business School. He also has a Doctorate from
Harvard Business School.
