John A. Maffei

JOHN A. MAFFEI, JR. is Chief Investment Officer of MFM Capital
Management, Inc. of Orlando, Florida. John Maffei’s interest in the
investment markets evolved in the mid-1970s. His investment career began
at The Continental Insurance Company of New York, where he worked in the
investment department tracking activity of various portfolios. He later
worked at U.S. Realty & Investment Company in Newark, New Jersey where
he became exposed to mortgage hedging practices. Mr. Maffei is an
extensive user and believer in options. He has a B.A. in Accounting from
Bloomfield College and an M.B.A. in Finance from Rutgers University. He
is married and has one child.
