Joachim Waltl is a Senior Portfolio Manager with Security KAG responsible for Eastern European markets. He has 19 years of investment experience. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Waltl was President of the management board and Senior Portfolio Manager at Hypo Alpe Adria Invest in Croatia, and managed the first Balkans investment fund — Hypo South Eastern European Opportunities Fund — available to investors and launched in 2005. Prior to that, he worked as an equity portfolio manager at Tury Invest, and he started his career as an assistant portfolio manager with Security KAG. Mr. Waltl is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Institute.
