Jeffrey S. Lorberbaum

JEFFREY S. LORBERBAUM is President and Chief Executive Officer of Mohawk
Industries, Inc. After completing his education at the University of
Denver, Mr. Lorberbaum began his professional career with Aladdin Mills
in 1976. He held several positions at Aladdin and served as Vice
President of Operations at the time of Aladdin’s 1994 merger with Mohawk
Industries. Following that merger, Mr. Lorberbaum was named President of
Aladdin, and in 1995, was appointed President and Chief Operating
Officer of Mohawk Industries. On January 1, 2001, he became Mohawk’s
President and Chief Executive Officer. He has served on Mohawk’s Board
of Directors since 1994.
