Jeffery W. Yabuki

JEFFERY W. YABUKI is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating
Officer of H&R Block, Inc. He leads the company’s domestic and
international tax business units branded under the H&R Block
name, including software and online products and services. He
also oversees H&R Block’s information technology department and
is responsible for aligning the delivery of financial services
with the needs of H&R Block’s tax client base. Mr. Yabuki joined
H&R Block in 1999 as the President of H&R Block International,
where he led the company’s tax services operations in Canada,
Australia and the United Kingdom. He also directed the
development of the company’s financial services strategy in
international markets. Prior to joining H&R Block, Mr. Yabuki was
President and Chief Executive Officer of American Express Tax &
Business Services in New York, where he worked for 12 years. Mr.
Yabuki was responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s
tax, accounting and consulting business, consisting of nearly
2,600 professionals in 19 states. Mr. Yabuki received a
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California
State University, Los Angeles. He obtained CPA certificates in
California and Minnesota, his NASD Series 7 license, and is a
past member of the Minnesota Board of Accountancy.
