James R. Preissler

JAMES R. PREISSLER is Director of Digital Media Research at Investec
Inc. and spearheads the company’s efforts in that market sector.
Formerly head of Internet equity research at PaineWebber, he established
the largest Wall Street-sponsored Internet conference on the East Coast,
with over 60 companies and 1,500 attendees, featuring his coverage of
digital media, Internet software, Internet security, and Internet
advertising and e-commerce. Prior to joining Investec, Mr. Preissler was
a Founder of HelloAsia, a provider of CRM and e-marketing applications
in the Asian marketplace. He holds a BA in history from Yale University.
