James P. Stoeffel

James P. Stoeffel is Portfolio Manager for Royce & Associates, LLC, investment adviser to The Royce Funds. Mr. Stoeffel serves as Portfolio Manager for Royce Low-Priced Stock Fund. He has 21 years of investment-industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Stoeffel co-founded and managed a hedge fund for Rebus Partners. Prior to that, he was employed by Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, LLC from 2001 to 2008, and served as Co-Manager for the Small Cap, All Cap and CRM Partners LP funds. Previously, he was Director of Research at Palisade Capital from 1999 to 2001 and Vice President of Research at Salomon, Smith Barney from 1993 to 1999. He began his career as a financial services industry auditor from 1984 to 1992. Mr. Stoeffel received his bachelor’s degree from Washington & Lee University and his Master of Business Administration from New York University.
