James O. Collins

Insight Capital Research & Management, Inc. was founded in 1988 by JAMES
O. COLLINS and Lisa K. Miller. Mr. Collins had developed Insight’s
disciplined, three-step stock selection method over a 30 year period. He
made his first investments in small/mid ‘cap growth stocks in 1956 which
spawned a career in the investment field, including managing
institutional accounts, a mutual fund, and private client portfolios.
Teamed with Lisa Miller’s management experience and knowledge of
compliance procedures, the two principals founded the firm in 1988 to
provide asset management services to institutional investors and private
clients. Mr. Collins earned his MBA at Harvard, his Bachelor of
Electrical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology
and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
