James M. Simmons

James M. SIMMONS is President, Chief Investment Officer and
Founder of ICM Asset Management, Inc. With over three decades of
experiences in financial services, investment and trust
management, he heads up research for all of ICM’s small- and mid-
cap value portfolios. He is also the Founder and a Principal of
Raven Ventures, a Spokane firm with specialties in venture
capital and business management, as well as the manager of a few
performance-oriented hedge funds. Mr. Simmons founded ICM after
serving as the head of Old National Bank’s Trust Department in
Spokane. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Michigan
State University and is a member of the Association for
Investment Management and Research, the Spokane Chapter of the
Seattle Society of Financial Analysts and the Spokane Stock and
Bond Club. Mr. Simmons is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
