James J. Green

JAMES J. GREEN is President and Chief Investment Officer of SunBelt
Capital Management, located in Charlotte, NC. He leads an experienced
team of investment professionals in the provision of comprehensive
portfolio management services for high net-worth individuals, trusts,
foundations and corporations. Mr. Green’s 30 years of investment and
financial experience in the Carolinas includes 14 years as an Investment
Manager, three years as Director of Research at a major southeastern
securities firm, four years as an Auditor with Arthur Andersen &
Company, where he earned his CPA certificate, and nine years as Chief
Financial Officer of a privately held forest products company. Mr.
Green is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor’s degree in
Economics, and holds an MBA from Rutgers University. He also served for
three years as an officer in the United States Navy.
