James Estill

JAMES ESTILL is the founder, President and CEO of EMJ Data Systems,
Ltd., which he established in 1979. EMJ Data Systems Ltd., headquartered
in Guelph, Ontario, is a Canadian, publicly-owned distributor of
computer products and peripherals. EMJ specializes in high performance
products for Apple, Digital Audio/Video, Internetworking, Media
Management, Point-of-Sale and UNIX. EMJ employees over 200 people and
has branch offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Montreal and
Halifax, as well as an office in the United States. 1998 sales were $142
million and EMJ trades under the symbol EMJ on the Toronto Stock
Exchange. Mr. Estill frequently lectures and writes articles on the
subjects of entrepreneurship. Business, computer industry trends, and
time management. In 1997, Mr. Estill was the winner of Canada’s Top 40
Under 40, and a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year.
