Jack McDonnell

JACK MCDONNELL is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Of McDATA
Corporation. A McDATA co-Founder, Mr. McDonnell is responsible for the
company’s overall strategic direction. He has served as Chief Executive
Officer of McDATA since its inception in 1982 and was appointed Chairman
of the Board of Directors in 1998. Mr. McDonnell has more than 31 years’
experience in the data communications field, including 26 years in
corporate and technical management, and five years in corporate
management and engineering positions at Storage Technology Corporation
and Computer Communications Inc. He attended California State University
at Long Beach.
