Hugh Wynne is a Senior Research Analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC, and a Senior Vice President of AllianceBernstein. He has covered the U.S. power industry since 2001 and is nationally ranked by Institutional Investor. Mr. Wynne has many years of experience with the power sector. Prior to joining Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC, Mr. Wynne was Vice President of Finance for ABB Energy Ventures, an independent power producer and member of the ABB Group, where he was responsible for the nonrecourse financing of power generation and transmission projects. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President in Lehman Brothers’ investment banking department, where he advised international utility companies on both debt and equity financing. Mr. Wynne graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and earned his master’s in economics from Stanford University.
