Holden L. Ostrin

HOLDEN L. OSTRIN, co-Chairman of Optimal Robotics Corporation, has been
a Director of Optimal since June 1996. Mr. Ostrin was Vice Chairman from
June 1996 through June 1999, at which time Mr. Ostrin and Neil Wechsler
each became Co-Chairman. From May 1995 to May 1996, Mr. Ostrin was an
independent business consultant. Prior to April 1995, Mr. Ostrin was
Vice President and Director of CIBC Wood Gundy Securities Inc., a
Canadian investment dealer. Mr. Ostrin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree
from Boston University in 1982 and a Juris Doctor degree from Boston
University School of Law in 1985.
