Henry Yu

Henry Yu, CEO and Chairman of the board, joined General Steel Holdings, Inc., in October 2004. Mr. Yu graduated in 1985 from Sciences and Engineering Institute in Tianjin, China. In July 1994, he received his bachelor’s degree from the Institute of Business Management for Officers. Mr. Yu also received the title of Senior Economist from the Committee of Science and Technology of Tianjin City in 1994. In July 1997, he received an MBA degree from the Graduate School of Tianjin Party University. Since April 2003, Mr. Yu has held a position as a member of China’s APEC — Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation — Development Council.
