Harris Deloach

HARRIS DELOACH joined Sonoco Products Company in 1986 as Vice President
Administration and General Counsel. Prior to joining the company, he was
in private law practice and served as an outside counsel to Sonoco for
some 15 years prior to joining the company. Subsequently, he has had
operating responsibility for virtually all of Sonoco’s businesses. He
was named President and Chief Executive Officer in July 2000. Mr.
DeLoach graduated from the Darla Moore School of Business at the
University of South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration
and graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law with a
JD degree.
