George C. Halatsis was born in Montreal, Canada. He received a BA in
1976 and an MBA in 1978, both at McGill University, Montreal. He joined
Inco Limited in May 2000 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer. From 1996 until joining Inco, Mr. Halatsis was Executive Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer of Canadian Pacific Railway.
Prior to that, he held a number of key positions at Exxon Corporation
and affiliated companies. Mr. Halatsis is 46 years old, married with two
children, and resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
