George B. Bolton

George B. Bolton is the Chief Investment Officer and a Portfolio Manager at WestEnd Capital Management, LLC. He has been in the financial services business since graduating with honors from the University of Virginia in 1985 with a B.A. degree in economics. After college, Mr. Bolton joined Alex. Brown & Sons in Baltimore, Maryland, and rose quickly, becoming a Principal in 1989. In 1987 he relocated to San Francisco to lead the institutional equity sales team after Alex. Brown & Sons won the IPO business for Microsoft and Oracle. Under his leadership, sales jumped tenfold from 1987 to 1990. In 1991, Mr. Bolton became the youngest Managing Partner at Alex. Brown & Sons. While leading institutional equity sales on the West Coast, he also successfully ran separately managed accounts for high net worth individuals and generated notable returns. In 2004, after a highly successful career, Mr. Bolton left DB Alex Brown to become a Partner and Chief Investment Officer at WestEnd Capital Management, LLC.
