George A. Mairs

GEORGE A. MAIRS, III has been with Mairs and Power, Inc. since 1952. He
has been President and Director of the firm since 1993. Mr. Mairs has
been President, Director and Manager of Mairs and Power Growth Fund,
Inc. since 1980. He earned BA degrees from McAlester College and from
Yale University. Mr. Mairs is a Chartered Investment Counselor and was
an Adjunct Faculty member of the University of Minnesota from 1965-1985.
He is a member of the Association for Investment Management and
Research, a former Trustee of McAlester College, a past Board President
of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, an Executive Board Member of the
Indianhead Council of Boy Scouts of America, and a Board member of the
Ramsey County Historical Society.
