GARY GRIFFITHS has been Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
of Everdream Corporation since June 1999. Mr. Griffiths brings Everdream
over 30 years of management experience, spanning a career in the U.S.
Navy, IBM and SegaSoft Networks. Under his leadership, Everdream has
grown rapidly and emerged as the leader in the emerging field of
subscription computing. He has forged strategic alliances with industry
leaders including Hewlett-Packard, Siebel Systems, Oracle, XO
Communications and others. His active involvement in the industry has
earned Everdream a growing list of industry accolades including PC
Magazine’s Editors Choice in Business Computing Solutions, UPSIDE
magazine’s 2001 ‘Hot 100′ Award, Computer World’s Top 100 Emerging
Companies for 2002,’ and many others. Prior to joining Everdream, Mr.
Griffiths was co-Founder and CEO of SegaSoft Networks, Inc., a
multiplayer Internet entertainment software company. In this role, he
led the creation of a scalable network infrastructure to deliver
entertainment over the Internet with groundbreaking technology and
original titles for both online and retail. Mr. Griffiths launched his
high tech career at IBM in 1979, where he played key roles in the
development of the PS/2 personal computer and the original ThinkPad
brand of PCs. From 1993 through 1995, Mr. Griffiths was responsible for
IBM’s PowerPC business development efforts. Mr. Griffiths is a frequent
industry spokesperson. He is a 1972 graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy,
receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering,
followed by post-graduate work at the Naval Engineering school.
Subsequently, he served in the U.S. Navy as an officer aboard a nuclear
fast attack submarine. He earned an MBA from George Washington
University, while concurrently teaching as an Associate Professor at the
U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland.
