Garvis Snook

GARVIS SNOOK, Chief Executive of Rok property solutions plc, has
30 years’ experience in the construction industry. He joined
Stansell Limited in 1984 as manager of its Small Works section,
and progressed to becoming Managing Director in 1995. In 1996 he
was appointed a Regional Managing Director of Morgan Sindall Plc.
In May 2000 he joined the Board of EBC Group Plc (now Rok
property solutions plc), and became Chief Executive on June 1,
2000. Since then he has overseen the transformation of the
company from a sleepy, traditional, contractor/developer to a
property solutions provider. He is known for his outspoken views
for modernizing the industry and was a founding Director of
Somerset Training & Enterprise Council and Somerset Business
Link. In his spare time he enjoys sailing, hill walking, foreign
travel and spending time with his wife, Lindsey, and his five
children.
