Garen Sarafian

Garen Sarafian is Citigroup Investment Research & Analysis’ Healthcare Technology & Distribution Analyst. He has been with the company since 2007, and named a Rising Star of Wall Street Research in Institutional Investor’s All-America Research Survey as a best up-and-comer in 2010. Prior to his current role, he was a covering Analyst as part of Citigroup Investment Research & Analysis’ Healthcare Technology & Distribution team, and was also on the Managed Care team that consistently ranked top three in external rankings. Mr. Sarafian also has extensive industry experience. He was a Director at Aetna for five years, where he was a part of the Strategic Marketing Group. This group assessed new opportunities, identified and responded to key business issues, and advised Aetna’s various operating segments on enhancing growth. Prior to Aetna, Mr. Sarafian was a Management Consultant for four years, when he initially began to gravitate towards health care-related projects and firms. He holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in economics and psychology from the University of Michigan.
