Michael P. Finkelstein

Michael P. Finkelstein, CFA, is a Partner at NorthPointe Capital, and is one of NorthPointe’s more talented stock pickers and research analysts. Mr. Finkelstein joined us in 2002 and has been a solid contributor working closely on the small/smid-cap value team. Over the years, Mr. Finkelstein has developed a particular expertise in the health care space. His stock picks have contributed nicely to the alpha generated by the team. Mr. Finkelstein’s willingness to challenge the status quo has helped to encourage a sense of conviction and clarity on the team. Prior to NorthPointe, Mr. Finkelstein worked as an equity analyst for Strong Capital Management in 2001 and developed a strong financial background working in corporate finance for Ernst & Young from 1992 to 2000. Mr. Finkelstein earned his BBA and his MBA from the University of Michigan. He is a CFA charterholder.
