Ernesto Ramos

Ernesto Ramos, Ph.D., is Managing Director and Head of Equities at BMO Global Asset Management. Dr. Ramos joined BMO Global Asset Management U.S. in 2005. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee and leads the team responsible for portfolio management and research for all equity strategies. Before joining the firm, he was Partner and Lead Portfolio Manager at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management LLC. He began his career in investment management in 1992, and has a Ph.D. and an M.A. in statistics from Harvard University, and a B.S. in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
